Sapphire Celebrates a Win at the Computing Security Awards 2026

We’re proud to share that Sapphire has won an award at the Computing Security Awards 2026. It’s a fantastic achievement for our team and one that feels even more special as we celebrate 30 years of Sapphire.
A lot has changed during that time and so have we. The cyber security risks organisations face today are very different from those we were dealing with 30 years ago. Technology has moved forward, threats have evolved and cyber security has become an increasingly important part of how organisations operate.
One thing hasn’t changed though. Good technology matters, but technology alone isn’t enough. People, expertise and support matter too.
Over the years, Sapphire has continued to evolve alongside the changing cyber security landscape. Today, our team works across managed security, cyber security consultancy, testing and assurance, incident response and recovery, helping organisations better understand their risks and strengthen their cyber resilience.
The people behind Sapphire
Behind everything we do are our people.
Winning at the Computing Security Awards is brilliant recognition of the skill, hard work and commitment our team brings to Sapphire and our customers every day. With four awards won so far this year, it’s been an incredible year of recognition for our people and something we’re really proud of.
Everyone across Sapphire plays a part. From monitoring and responding to threats and testing defences to advising customers and helping organisations better understand their cyber risk. There are also plenty of people behind the scenes making sure everything keeps moving.
That collective effort has helped shape Sapphire over the last 30 years and continues to drive us forward today. Of course, none of this happens without our customers, partners and wider community. Thank you for continuing to be part of the Sapphire story and to everyone who took the time to vote for us. Your support genuinely means a lot to all of us.
Computing Security Awards 2026 and 30 Years of Sapphire
Celebrating 30 years gives us a chance to look back at how far we’ve come, but we’re just as interested in what comes next. Cyber security never stands still. AI, emerging technologies, evolving threats and new risks continue to reshape the industry and create new challenges for organisations.
That means we need to keep learning, adapting and evolving too.
Whether we’re monitoring threats, testing defences, helping an organisation understand its cyber risk or preparing for what comes next, the goal remains the same: helping our customers stay secure and resilient.
Winning at the Computing Security Awards 2026 is a brilliant way to mark our 30th year and we’re incredibly proud of everyone who has played a part in the Sapphire story.
A lot has changed in cyber security over the last 30 years and we’ve changed with it. We’ve learnt a lot along the way, built some brilliant relationships and achieved plenty that we’re proud of. The last 30 years have shaped who we are today. Now, we’re focused on what comes next and continuing to evolve alongside our customers and the cyber security landscape.
Q&A
Has Sapphire won a Computing Security Award in 2026?
Yes. Sapphire won at the Computing Security Awards 2026, making the recognition particularly special as Sapphire celebrates its 30th year.
How long has Sapphire been working in cyber security?
Sapphire is celebrating 30 years in 2026, marking three decades of working alongside organisations through significant changes in technology, cyber threats and the wider security landscape.
What does Sapphire do?
Sapphire is a 100% UK-owned and operated cyber security company helping organisations understand and manage cyber risk. We provide managed cyber security services, cyber security consultancy, security testing and assurance, incident response and recovery, helping organisations strengthen their security and build long-term cyber resilience.
How has cyber security changed during Sapphire’s 30 years?
Cyber security has changed significantly over the last 30 years. Organisations are more connected and more dependent on technology than ever before, while cloud services, remote working, AI and other emerging technologies have changed both how businesses operate and how they need to think about security.
The threats have evolved too. Ransomware, increasingly sophisticated attacks and new risks across complex digital environments mean cyber security is no longer just about protecting individual systems. Organisations need greater visibility of their risks, the ability to respond quickly when something happens and a clear understanding of where their biggest vulnerabilities lie.
For Sapphire, that changing landscape has meant continuing to learn, adapt and evolve alongside our customers. While the technology and threats may look very different from 30 years ago, the focus remains the same: helping organisations understand their cyber risk, strengthen their defences and build resilience.
