Ian has more than 20 years of experience leading Cyber Security, IT Services, and Consulting sectors. In his early career, he worked at British Airways, where he managed their Global Contact Centre, and at Cable & Wireless, where he oversaw their Global networks.  

Ian has a successful history of leading large, diverse global teams in transformation and turnaround. He also has extensive experience in M&A, having integrated acquisitions and sold businesses to Private Equity. 

Gareth, who previously served as Technical Director at NCC Group, has extensive experience in developing complex solutions to address clients’ cyber challenges.

He achieved this through an end-to-end service delivery model that involved people and technology transformation. Gareth has worked in technical roles within Defence and Public sectors.  

Claudia is an accomplished senior HR executive with over 25 years of experience in various industries. Her most recent role was as the Global HR Director for Technology at Kantar. Prior to this, she served as Director of Workplace Transformation & HR Consulting, Sopra Steria 

Claudia has a wealth of experience in collaborating with high-level executives, leading global teams and ensuring that HR is recognised as a strategic driver within organisations.

Nadine brings over two decades of financial leadership to support the company’s ambitious growth in the dynamic cybersecurity sector.

She leads Sapphire’s financial strategy, governance, and performance optimisation, ensuring the business remains resilient and scalable in a rapidly evolving threat landscape.

With a career in technology spanning more than two decades, Al brings deep expertise in advanced cyber defence and a proven track record in leadership.

Prior to joining Sapphire, Al was Principal Consultant at NCC Group, where they honed their skills in tackling complex security challenges.

Jules assists our clients in the Critical National Infrastructure, manufacturing, and defence sectors to increase their operational cyber resilience to make society safer.

Recent projects include industries such as offshore wind, oil & gas, rail, maritime, power generation, food & drink, manufacturing as well as working with central government, local authorities and the police.

Steve’s role combines operational oversight with strategic leadership of the assurance division. He focuses on continuously evolving and enhancing penetration testing services to address emerging threats and align with industry best practices.

His expertise spans a wide range of security assessments, including CHECK IT Health Check (ITHC), attack path mapping and vulnerability assessments.

Before joining Sapphire Thomas worked as a security specialist for large enterprises and finance, delivering security outcomes to both the private and public sector.

He joined Sapphire to build and lead Sapphire’s fully UK based SOC. Now as Head of Managed Services he leads the combined teams that deliver all aspects of Sapphires Managed Services.

Kelly is a chartered accountant with over 15 years of post-qualification experience and holds FCCA status. This progression led to a senior leadership role as Head of Finance for a group of companies specialising in scientific research and development.

Kelly is passionate about turning complex financial data into a clear and compelling story. She works closely with colleagues to leverage financial insights for effective operations and strategic decision-making.
