MIKE JONES

Ex-Anonymous & Security Researcher

Mike can present on a wide range of topics including: current and emerging threats, his life as one of the original members of the activist group Anonymous, his work with law enforcement and his goals to educate and raise awareness within schools and higher education.

Mike Jones (sting3r) As a former member of Anonymous Mike has refocused his efforts to advise both public and private sector on how to better secure not only their infrastructure but also their social behaviors against compromise. He has lead several Red Teams and has developed new ways to exploit organisations. His knowledge in the seedier side of the cyberspace has given him a unique viewpoint on todays threats. Mike also volunteers time to local police as well as national organizations to help todays youth make better cyber decisions.

Greg van der Gaast

Head of Information Security, university of salford

Greg presents on a wide range of topics including communicating with the board, effective information security management and security leadership.

With over 20+ years in information security Greg firmly believes that security spend is not security value. Despite being cited as one of the most influential computer hackers of the late 1990's, Greg believes that technology cannot be effective without critical holistic thinking, and a solid foundation of human involvement.

Kevin Fielder

Kevin can discuss a wide range of topics including but not limited to: securing DevOps, agile working, diversity within the workplace, the value of data and his experiences working for one of the largest online retailer

Kevin Fielder is Chief Information Security Officer at Just Eat with overall responsibility for global security and resilience across the dynamic FTSE100 company.  He has created and delivered a highly successful security strategy which meets the demands of an agile worldwide business. With an extensive background spanning financial services and payments, Kevin excels in leading high performing teams and also effectively engaging boards around cyber risk and resilience. An experienced and dynamic information security professional, Kevin is also a board advisor to several organisations, an experienced speaker and is an active member of the cyber security community promoting awareness, diversity and innovation.

Sarah Armstrong-Smith

Chief Security Advisor in Microsoft’s Cybersecurity Solutions Group

Sarah Armstrong-Smith is a Chief Security Advisor in Microsoft’s Cybersecurity Solutions Group. She principally works with customers to help them evolve their security strategy and capabilities to support digital transformation and cloud adoption.  

Sarah has a background in business continuity, disaster recovery, data protection and privacy, as well as crisis management. This enables us to operate holistically to understand the cybersecurity landscape, and how this can be proactively enabled to deliver effective operational resilience.

Sarah was recognised as one of the most influential women in UK Tech and UK cybersecurity in 2018 and 2019 and regularly contributes to thought leadership and industry publications.
