The NIS Directive – Webinar
July 15 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pmFree
What does it mean to you?
The EU Directive on Security of Network and Information Systems (the NIS Directive) is the first piece of EU-wide legislation on cyber security. Designed to improve the overall level of cyber security throughout the EU, its objectives are to develop a security culture throughout all member states.
Supported by the NCSC, the directive is applicable to all UK sectors who are part of the Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) and rely heavily on IT such as operators in electricity, transport, water, energy, health, finance and digital infrastructure.
During this webinar our Head of Business Consultancy, Vernon Poole, will provide a background to the NIS Directive – Networks and Information Systems, discuss the latest NCSC guidance (including the role of competent authorities); applicability to OESs and DSPs, the four guiding principles and how Sapphire can assist in reviewing your Cyber Assessment Framework (CAF).
