Sapphire provides a flexible solution that offers a wide range of authentication models. A security string is sent to the person wishing to authenticate, this can be delivered via 3 different interfaces. The person authenticating will then use their PIN to extract a one-time code. At the heart of the solutions lies a unique, patented protocol designed to ensure that the person requesting access to a secure system is who they claim to be, beyond any reasonable doubt. Using a random-generated security string issued by the server and a 4 digit user PIN, a one-time-code (OTC) is generated as the means of authenticating the user. The use of the patented one-time code extraction protocol offers both single and multi-channel and single and multi-factor authentication solutions.
