Each year, delegates gather to hear industry leading lights share their experiences within the Information Security / Assurance arena.

In 2009, NISC celebrates its 10th consecutive event. The agenda features speakers from organisations including Microsoft, Flybe, Standard Life Plc, CESG, Cap Gemini, NHS Connecting for Health, Sainsbury’s and Vodafone.

The National Information Security Conference (NISC) offers an innovative approach to Information Security. This unique event places emphasis and value on the experience gained by its presenters and sponsors whilst also taking into account the benefit of peer-to-peer networking and collaboration. NISC gives delegates the opportunity to increase both their practical and theoretical knowledge in a relaxed and informal environment, taking information security to another level.

Key Industry Speakers

Each year NISC exceeds its delegates expectations; presenting a variety of speakers and presentations. Previous events have seen the likes of Scottish Water, The Cabinet Office, Logica CMG, Barclays, Experian and SOCA to name but a few. NISC speakers share their own experiences with the delegates, often using case studies and examples from their career. To view details of last years event, please visit http://www.nisc.org.uk/.

“It was really useful to spend time listening and talking to other security professionals who face, and solve real world issues with real world budgets and constraints rather than sitting through heavily vendor / legislative led discussions that happen at some other conferences.”
Robert Wing, IT Security Analyst, Clarks International

Delegates

Organisations today are faced with the arduous task of securing their IT infrastructures, keeping their corporate data secure and protecting their staff, partners and customers against security breaches.

The conference agenda is tailored to appeal to both the public and private sector. With a main stream conference agenda, breakout sessions and an exhibition hall, NISC is the only delegate focussed security event of the year.  To view details of last years event, please visit http://www.nisc.org.uk/.

“NISC provides opportunity for the info security community to share and discuss IT security issues in a relaxed, enjoyable environment. As an auditor, I have come away with increased knowledge and understanding of key IT risks and their controls. Excellent value for money.”
