Over the last three years, Sapphire’s Business Consultancy team have been offering a range of information security consultancy services to SMEs in the public, private and voluntary sectors.

As the majority of organisations now have a mobile / remote workforce, security frameworks must be flexible, adaptable and proactive in ensuring safe and trusted working not only for your staff, but also, any external party you work with.

The framework must also adhere to any regulatory or legal demands placed on you. Therefore, Sapphire’s offering covers:-

• Best practice guidance (ISO27001) tailored for an SME.
• Alignment with UK Government’s Security Policy Framework (where applicable).
• Alignment with PCI compliance requirements.

• Taking account of sector specific regulatory requirements e.g. contractual clauses.

How Can You Take Advantage of This Unique Offering?

Initially, Sapphire will arrange a short (45 minute), no obligation conference call with you and a member of its Business Consultancy team to discuss your particular requirements. Following this a mutual agreement can be reached to undertake a tailored assessment of your current information security measures.

Sapphire can then provide guidance on how to develop your existing measures into a trusted documented information security framework. Throughout the process your staff will receive guidance and knowledge transfer from our consultants to ensure adherence. From a cost perspective, because the framework is being tailored to the SME market, the initial consultancy will cover no more than a three day assessment (depending on the breadth of coverage – outlined above).

Pricing and Scope

The pricing has also been tailored to suit the budgetary requirements of the SMEs. Sapphire proposes that over a three day period we provide an initial gap analysis and work with your team to implement an information security management framework. The total cost for this being £1,950*.
