What
CLAS is the CESG Listed Adviser Scheme - a partnership linking the unique Information Assurance knowledge of CESG with the expertise and resources of the private sector. CESG recognises that there is an increasing demand for authoritative Information Assurance advice and guidance.

CLAS aims to satisfy this demand by creating a pool of high quality consultants approved by CESG to provide information assurance advice to all public sector organisations. CLAS consultants are approved to provide recommendations on systems processing protectively marked information up to and including SECRET.

CLAS ensures that providers have knowledge of Government policy and guidance, risks to official systems and techniques available to counter them. All Consultants applying for membership of CLAS are assessed on the basis of a competency framework relating to the HMG Practitioner Core Competency Profile for the ITPC qualification.
