ISO/IEC 27001

In 2005, the global best practise, BS7799 Part 2 / ISO 27002 (ISO 17799:2005), was significantly updated and re-written. Alongside, the certification process became an international standard, ISO/IEC27001. Certification to ISO/IEC27001 demonstrates an organisation meets the international standard for information security. Sapphire is one of the first organisations in the UK and Europe to achieve ISO/IEC27001.
